The terms of working with us and using this site — in plain language.

Nuvari is a web design studio based in South Africa that builds websites for contractors and home-service businesses. These terms govern your use of nuvari.online and any services we provide. By using this site or signing up for a plan, you agree to them. If anything in a signed proposal differs from these terms, the proposal applies.
We design, build, and host websites, and provide related services such as local SEO and content. Every project starts with a free homepage mockup: we design a concept for your business at no cost and no obligation, and you only proceed if you want to. The scope and timeline of your project are confirmed in writing before work begins. Most sites go live within 2–3 weeks of us receiving your content, though timelines depend on how quickly we receive what we need from you.
Our plan is billed monthly at R300 per month. The monthly fee covers the design and build of your website, hosting, security, ongoing edits, and support, as set out on our pricing page.
Monthly fees are billed in advance. We won't change the price of an active plan without at least 30 days' written notice. Promotional offers (such as founding-client pricing) apply only as stated at the time and may be changed or withdrawn for future clients at any time.
While you're on a monthly plan, Nuvari registers and manages your domain and hosting on your behalf — that's part of what the plan covers. If you'd prefer to hold the domain or hosting yourself, just ask: we'll transfer the domain into your name at any time, at no charge from us beyond the registrar's own fees.
The website itself — its design, code, and build — is and always remains the property of Nuvari, including after cancellation and even if you take over the domain or hosting. It is licensed to you for as long as your plan is active; an active monthly plan is what keeps the website live on your domain.
Your own content is always yours: your business information, photos, and text, plus any logo or content we created for you as part of a paid add-on. We may feature completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
There are no lock-in contracts. You can cancel at any time by emailing us; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month, and you won't be charged again after that. On cancellation we hand over your content and, on request, transfer your domain to you. The website itself stays with Nuvari and is taken offline — if you return later or move elsewhere, a new website would need to be built.
You see a free mockup before you commit, so you know what you're getting before you pay anything. If you're not happy with the first full design we deliver after you sign up, we'll refund what you've paid. Beyond that, monthly fees already billed for past months are not refundable, and once-off add-on fees are not refundable once that work has been delivered and accepted.
Your build includes a reasonable number of revision rounds, confirmed in your proposal. After launch, your plan covers ongoing edits and support — small content updates, fixes, and tweaks. Larger changes (a redesign, significant new sections or functionality) are quoted separately before we start.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information on your site and for having the rights to any content you give us (photos, logos, text). You confirm your business and the services it advertises are lawful, and you'll respond to reasonable requests for content and feedback so we can keep your project moving.
We host sites on reputable third-party infrastructure and aim to keep your site available at all times, but no host can guarantee uninterrupted service. If something goes down, restoring it is part of your plan and our priority.
This website is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuvari is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost business) arising from use of this site or our services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under South African consumer protection law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes that affect an active plan will be communicated to you directly.
